Are you interested in talking with local decision makers and raising awareness about the issues surrounding afterschool in your community?

Become an NC CAP liaison.

The North Carolina Center for Afterschool programs is recruiting for its county liaison program. Liaisons serve as a point of contact with local decision makers and disseminate information about NC CAP and the state of afterschool within the local community.

Your commitment is for one year, and we will provide you with specialized materials to communicate about afterschool issues to your local officials. We also encourage you to serve as an afterschool advocate within your community by urging local decision makers to support increased availability of high quality afterschool programs in your area. We will send a letter informing your local officials of your participation.
